About Enterprise Restigouche:

Enterprise Restigouche is a not-for-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors, which is comprised of fifteen business and community leaders from the Restigouche region representing various sectors of our economy.

Main funding partners of Enterprise Restigouche, include the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency; the Province of New Brunswick (Business New Brunswick, Regional Development Corporation, Post-Secondary Education, Training & Labour); and the municipalities within the Restigouche region.

Our role is to provide leadership and partnership coordination for the community; lead the development of strategic plans. We create, implement and monitor regional integrated work plans. We integrate local, provincial and federal priorities. We offer business development assistance and counselling; support the development of strategic clusters; and coordinate labour force development initiatives. Enterprise Restigouche facilitates management training for small and medium enterprises and supports investment and export development activities.

The provincial Enterprise Network encompasses a coordinated approach to economic development that involves all partners at the regional level - federal, provincial, and municipal governments, businesses, and community development organizations, to name a few. Strategic planning for the region includes consultation with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that plans reflect the needs of the community.
