Are you someone who enjoys bringing people together, building connections, and turning a great idea into a project that can truly improve people’s lives?
At the Restigouche Regional Service Commission, community development is first and foremost about people. It means listening to the realities of our region, recognizing its strengths, understanding its challenges, and bringing the right people together to move solutions forward.
As Community Development Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the vitality and well-being of the Restigouche region. You will work with local governments, community organizations, government partners, residents, and other regional stakeholders to develop and support initiatives that respond to the real needs of our communities.
Your work may address important issues such as affordable housing, social inclusion and poverty reduction, newcomer integration and the promotion of diversity, as well as the health and well-being of our communities.
Above all, you will be someone who builds bridges.
Because in community development, meaningful change often begins with something simple: a conversation, a meeting, a need that is heard, a few people deciding to work together… and then an idea becomes reality
If you are looking for a career where your work can truly make a difference in people’s lives and in the future of our region, we would love to meet you.
