CAMPBELLTON, NB – Friday June 19, 2026 – The Restigouche Regional Service Commission (RRSC) is pleased to announce the election of its Executive Officers at the first board meeting on June 18th of its newly constituted Board of Directors following the recent municipal elections.
Representatives from municipalities and Rural District across the Restigouche region gathered to establish the Commission's leadership for the upcoming term. The Board elected the following individuals to serve as its Executive Officers:
- Chair: Brad Mann (Restigouche Rural District)
- First Vice-Chair: Mario Pelletier (Mayor of the Village of Bois-Joli)
- Second Vice-Chair: Eric Gagnon (Mayor of the Kedgwick Rural Community)
- Corporate Secretary: Betty-Ann Fortin (RRSC CEO)
The Executive Members play a key role in supporting the governance and strategic direction of the Commission, which works collaboratively with municipalities and Rural District throughout the Restigouche region to deliver essential regional services and foster sustainable development.
Upon their election, the appointed Chair expressed appreciation for the confidence shown by fellow Board members.

I look forward to working closely with our municipal and community partners to advance regional priorities, strengthen collaboration, and ensure the Restigouche Regional Service Commission continues to deliver effective services and support sustainable growth throughout our region," said Brad Mann, Chair of the Restigouche Regional Service Commission.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, the Commission extends its congratulations to the newly elected Executive members and looks forward to their leadership in advancing regional priorities and strengthening collaboration among communities across Restigouche.
The RSC would also like to thank all members of the Board for their continued commitment to regional cooperation and effective governance.
The Restigouche Regional Service Commission provides a range of regional services including regional planning, solid waste management, economic development, community transportation and other initiatives, divisions that support the quality of life and prosperity of residents throughout the region.
