Restigouche Regional Service Commission Launches its New Tourism Initiative

Campbellton, Thursday December 8th, 2022 – The Restigouche Regional Service Commission has launched its new Tourism Initiative.  As part of the local governance reform, tourism promotion has been added to the Commission’s mandate.  A new Restigouche Tourism office has therefore been added to the services of the Restigouche Regional Service Commission.  A new tourism advisory committee has been put in place and new tourism branding for the area was unveiled.

The Chairman of the Restigouche RSC, Brad Mann, expressed that ‘‘The region has been missing out for way too long on opportunities particularly for winter tourism.  Our board of directors recognized the need for the whole region to get involved.  The Commission appointed Brian Landry from Charlo as chair of the new Tourism Advisory Committee and has hired Marilyn Saucier as Director of Tourism.’’

Tourisme Restigouche Tourism’s brand image along with its slogan «Experience the Enchantment of our 4 seasons» will be the pillar of Restigouche’s new Tourism Division’s strategy.

The new branding and strategy will be implemented through video presentation, campaign ads, new welcome signs, publications and social medias strategies.
